Jenna Lyles is an emerging writer from Jacksonville, FL who writes prose, poetry, and screenplays. Multi-generic to the core, she considers herself a full-time lyricist with a comedic bent and deep appreciation for everyday taboos.

Lyles is a recent graduate of The University of Alabama’s creative writing MFA program, where she was a McNair Fellow, assistant editor for Black Warrior Review, and award-winning English instructor.

Currently, she is working on her first novel, a multi-generational narrative about a Mexican-American family living in Texas.
